How to Customize Your Shoes
1. Choose the model
Start with the shape you want to dance in: an oxford, a mary jane, a t-strap, a loafer, a pump or a boot. Every model we make is available in every size from 34 to 48.
2. Choose the sole
Leather glides and turns with you, rubber grips when the floor is slippery, and neolite sits between the two. There is also a half and half sole, leather at the back and rubber at the front, and a Super Comfort Eva base built for long nights.
3. Choose the heel
From 2 cm to 6.5 cm, straight or curvy. A lower heel is steadier for a first pair, and a moderate heel suits balboa and fast footwork.
4. Choose the colour and the leather
Pick the colours you want, in real leather or vegan leather. If you have a specific shade in mind, write to us before you order and we will tell you what is possible.
5. Send your measurements
After you order we ask for your foot length in centimetres, and your ball width if you know it. Choose narrow, standard or wide. If your feet are two different sizes, we cut each shoe to its own size. We check your measurements before anything is cut.
Your pair is then made by hand in 10 to 15 business days and shipped worldwide. If you are unsure about anything, write to us before ordering; helping you choose is part of the craft.
Every pair is made after you order, which is why almost everything about it is yours to decide. Here is what you choose, and what we do with it.
Unhealthy Shoes as most podiatrists and shoe fit experts say;
-
Very narrow & long sole → puts pressure on toes.
-
Pointed toe box → squeezes toes, changes balance.
-
Hard leather sole → no shock absorption, all impact goes to joints.
Effect on Knees
-
No cushioning → every step hits the knees.
-
Altered balance → extra stress on ligaments & meniscus.
-
Long-term use in dance → can contribute to knee pain or injuries.
Better for Dancing Today
-
Wider toe box → natural toe spread.
-
Flexible sole with some cushion → absorbs impact.
-
Slight arch support → protects knees.
-
Leaving about a thumb’s width (roughly 1 cm or one finger space) between your longest toe (often the big toe or second toe) and the front of the shoe.

BASE MATERIALS
![]() Real Leather: Real leather is the most enduring material and it is slippery. It can be used for both base and heelcap. It loses its slippery feature when it is used outside. The tickness of the leather is medium so this makes it flexible and light. | ![]() Neolith: Neolith is a flat surface plastic and it is medium slippery. Lighter than rubber plastics and more flexible. Recommanded to be used while dancing or on Spring and Summer. Its vegan. | ![]() Rubber plastic women's: This is made of rubber plastic with some texture on it and this makes it sticky. Little heavier than neolit. Endures longer than neolith and can be used 4 seasons. This base can be used for soft tap dance. It is vegan. |
